Our History

2017
SIA Ultraplast EU, was founded in 2017. It all started with the distribution of Multiwall polycarbonate sheets. The company successfully sold plastic sheets on the European market, constantly expanding the geography of sales. Regular deliveries were carried out to Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Germany, Italy, Benelux, Finland and other countries.

2018
Our company saw great potential in the development of sales of plastic sheets, realizing that this material has a wide variety of applications and is found absolutely at every step. At a time when we already had experience selling plastic sheets, we started thinking about organizing our own production and started looking for a production site.

2019
Our company received a good offer for the location of our production in Ventspils, Latvia. Having agreed on the location of our own production, we immediately ordered the necessary production equipment.

2020
A building project with an area of 4200 sq.m. was developed and construction began.

2021
We officially opened our own factory in Latvia and started producing solid sheets of polycarbonate, acrylic (PMMA), PETG, polystyrene (GPPS) and PC profiles (accessories). A sheet extrusion line has been put into operation, which was produced by the world's leading company - BREYER, engaged in the development and production of complex extrusion systems for the production of plastics. The team of specialists carried out a complete and thorough check. The trained personnel started the production of new products.

2022
The installation of a new advanced extrusion line allowed us to launch the production of Multiwall Polycarbonate sheets. The equipment was manufactured by the leader in the production of extrusion lines - the famous Italian company OMIPA.

SIA Ultraplast EU is a fast developing young company that has successfully established itself among customers, with big plans for the future. And we are only at the very beginning of the way. We have plans for growth and development!
